What talent !! What an album, Michael Jackson is a symbol of perfection! Great listen, his music just makes me happy.

“Don’t stop till you get enough” IS SO FREAKING GOOD! (I know it is already music but) ITS MUSIC TO MY EARS TO HEAR THE INSTRUMENTS HE USED IN THE SONG!!

Remember when this came out. This album actually had a commercial for it. Was watching TV and the commercial for this came on. “Michael Jackson’s new album, Off the Wall, in stores now.” Sitting there I was thinking “Oh that’s Michael, he looks all grown up. Hope the album is good! I wish him luck.” Because I hadn’t heard much since the end of The Jackson Five and I knew his last solo efforts as a child weren’t well recieved and would wonder back then where he would go on from there. What if anything he would do. This was the answer. “Off the Wall” is a masterclass of how to make a pop album. If Jackson needed a so called “comeback” which I didn’t believe he did……just yet, well this was it. When you work with Quincy and a talented artist such as Michael, your efforts are going to pay off. Ah! This was when Michael was still young and black, and ok with it. Before the demons that would later plaque him would settle in and what would happen down the road, would unfortunately happen but this is a nice snapshot of a time and place where one of pop musics best albums would be made. Stellar album from start to finish. Musicians dream of writing, singing & producing something like this. I’ll always have a special place in my heart for “Off the Wall”. Cry, when I think of this sometimes, seeing Michael so young and grown with everything ahead of him. Well this album made me content knowing that yes Michael of course still had it in him and he was going to be ok and go on. Michael, wherever you are, I hope you’re in peace. God bless.
