This is not a happy go lucky, "somewhere over the rainbow" generic adaptation. They take these diverse Muse songs filled with complicated and incendiary guitar rifs and bass lines combined with frantic and electric drums and turn them into something else entirely through the rather exquisite and diverse use of the ukulele. "New Born" in particular is a completely different song and no less spectacular than its soft build up and harsh volta and swift end. It's taking the progressive songs of Muse and showing a new side to each song. The song choice is self makes me think that the SUB is fearless. "Plug in Baby" "Feeling Good" and "Time is Running Out" are no easy feats let alone turning them into independent ukulele songs. I have a whole new respect for the instrument and hope I get to see more from these guys in the future.
