I am excited to announce the release of my new song, “Omuliro Gwaake" (Let the Holy Fire Burn). This song is born out of my deep faith that my God is able to put right everything that concerns me. As it is written in Hebrews 12:29, "For our God is a consuming fire." I pray that He preserves me from pain, evil, disease, ridicule, debt, and all manner of negativity, upholding me and making me worthy before Him. “Nkulinze Okole” I am excited to share my new song, “Nkulinze Okole,” which translates to “I’m Waiting on You.” This song carries with it a powerful testimony of my pain, despair, and ultimately healing. It was born from a season of deep struggle in my life—literally crying as I sang the words. For 15 long years, I suffered from debilitating migraines that made many days and nights unbearable. Then 4 years ago on top of the migraines, I developed sinusitis, and no matter what treatments I sought, the condition only worsened. When a highly regarded ENT expert stopped responding (in a way of there is nothing more I can do for you) it felt like a final blow; it meant there was no hope left for me. As my sinusitis escalated, I started hearing alarming sounds in my lungs—crackling and whistling and could not not move may paces without gasping for breath. My world had become a nightmare. The list of foods I could comfortably eat dwindled to almost nothing—lemons, ginger, rosemary, and most spices that I liked were all triggers for migraines. I felt helpless and afraid, wondering why the God I serve had not healed me. However, in the depths of my despair, I wrote the song “Nkulinze Okole.” This song became my cry of surrender to God, where I laid down my frustrations. It was through this heartfelt expression that I experienced His healing. Miraculously, both my migraines and sinusitis have vanished. More importantly, I am no longer afraid. I can now revel in the joy of my salvation and embrace the life God has graciously given me. With this release, I pray that the anointing to heal flows through this song. May it touch hearts and break chains of prayer-resistant diseases. My prayer is for God to take away any fear of illness and bring healing to you as well. As Scripture says in Psalm 103:3, “He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.” May this be a reminder of His mighty power to heal and restore. Thank you for walking with me, and may this song bring hope and healing to your life. "Obujulizi" is more than just a song—it's a heartfelt testimony and a powerful anthem for anyone who has faced struggles and emerged triumphant. I love sharing the stories behind my music, and this one is particularly interesting. While my journey fits well in “Obujulizi”;the song made more sense while I listened to the demo with a dear friend. She recounted the story of a family from her home village—struggling neighbors who were ensnared in poverty. The father, mother, and their children lived in a desolate state, taking on casual labor just to survive. Their home, was a symbol of sorrow, suffering and hopelessness. Then, the story takes a remarkable turn. The family's three daughters, once burdened by their circumstances, eventually got married into prosperous families that brought fortune back to their roots. The very ground where their dilapidated home stood became the foundation of their palatial home now ; a symbol of their rise from rags to riches. Now, some of the children of those who once employed the family as casual laborers, humbly serve them—a true testament to the saying, “When God shows up, He shows off.” This song is a celebration of that divine intervention, and I invite you all to testify to the wonders of God and give Him the glory. "Obujulizi" speaks directly to anyone who has ever been mocked, disrespected, or written off. This is your song—your anthem of hope and victory. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 3:18 (NIV): “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” And let us not forget the promise found in 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NIV): “However, as it is written: ‘What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived’—the things God has prepared for those who love him.” Join me as we celebrate the journey of transformation and the boundless blessings that await us. "Obujulizi" is a reminder that with faith, we can rise above our circumstances and embrace the life that God has prepared for us.
