The hymn, 'The Lord's my shepherd, I'll not want', a metrical translation of Psalm 23 found in the 'Scottish Psalter' of 1650, set to the tune CRIMOND, by Jessie Irvine (1836 - 1887). The descant used in verses 2 and 5 was composed by W. Baird Ross (1871 - 1950). This hymn was sung at the State Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, at Westminster Abbey on Monday 19 September 2022. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
