I listen to this album every day while I’m stuck in bed for 5 weeks after I declined 2 months after my back surgery.
The purgatory theme really resonates.
It’s the only thing that got me through.
It has a classic Michael Jackson like sound, which is topped off by putting Quincy Jones, producer of Thriller, on one of the tracks.
Jim Carrey’s interludes are icing on the cake.
To really get this album you have to listen to the whole thing without doing anything else.

My boy missed hard with this one. This was a very boring listen. I gave it a few tries for the love of his old stuff but nothing stood out. Very forgettable album. Just throw this on when you need some background noise that you don’t really intend to pay attention to. It’s a snooze fest.
