This kid is brilliant! The album is very much a male, indie rock equivalent of Olivia Rodrigo’s “Sour”. There’s a lot of themes based on crushes, break-ups, on-off relationships, stuff like that. He’s obviously very young, but like Olivia, he’s got range without sacrificing his style. 12 to 12 is a ‘70’s disco throwback, but still fits onto the album. Canal Street is a country-style ballad, but not so much that it feels like it’s trying to sound country. Undressed is probably my favorite hit song this year, and (just like Olivia) the lyricism is great! My only gripe is that his vocals are slightly inconsistent from track to track. Sometimes they have way too much reverb on them to the point of making his voice indistinguishable, but that’s a minor thing. I’d never guess that the breakout star of this year would be some 20-year-old indie rock kid! Thanks sombr! 9/10.

Like a modern Bruce Springsteen. Job well done! My favorite song is crushing; it’s so catchy. I also like undressed! Not a single bad song, and the lyricism is genius. I totally relate as well. Love you, keep up the good work, and I hope to see more of you in the future
