Promise

PRomise has sone of the best writtne songs in her entire catalog. Songs like Fear and Mr. Wrong just hit you in a way that you are learning from her. But it's Maureen that I love the omst on this album. I loved this was the song that ends the album . The album is very moody towards the end of the album. Just a homage to her best friend was so beautiful because we all had Maureens in our lives. That best friend we don't get to see anymore because life taken us to a different path and you just wish that they were around to see the new people you met in life. This is Sade's second best album to me. I highly recommend it as a huge Sade fan myself

This album just blows you away. While her first two are outstanding this one really grooves from start to finish. Her later work drops off but this is peak Sade. I hope she can capture the energy of the first three albums again someday

"Is it a Crime" is a song I've returned to over an over again - and of course all the other many hits really bring it to make this a real top ten of all time! One of the best!

Is it a crime sets the tone of what is yet to come in this album in terms of songs which is beyond brilliant , Sade is by the far the best female singer ever hands down

This lady is gorgeous and her music is classic and so jazzy. She makes me feel good.
