Excited for new Prince, sad that With This Tear, it brings it to 5 unheard, (but it doesn’t count because the Celine Dion recording has been around for decades).
So, this is a missed opportunity. If you subtract songs that have been released in some form, then subtract heavily bootlegged songs that superfams have already heard, you get…an EP of 4 songs.
So, as excited as I was for this, it misses the mark. The vault is still kinda locked up. Putting the Deliverance EP on this would make more sense than this tracklist.
If ‘Call Me Anymore’ is indeed from the Piano & A Microphone Tour, it begs the question…why not release a full concert?
Where’s Divinity? And if we are doing previously bootlegged, why not The Grand Progression? Or Old Friends 4 Sale with the original lyrics?
I wish this was 10 unheard, unbootlegged, totally never released at all in any version songs. That sounds amazing. It can be done.
